An Overhaul!

I'm happy to announce, that OuttaHereChic, is about to get some major work done!

Over then next several weeks, an entirely new site (name and all) is being designed, and will showcase not only myself and the content from our current blogger home, but will also feature several other lovely people that want to share their tips and tricks for other subjects!

We're all very excited to be working on this project, and to see our new web home get launched :)

Closet Audits

Maybe it's the decision maker vein in me, or years of "boss" training, which I received as the oldest of eight kids.  Never the less, saying "yes" and "no", is something I like to do.

As someone who enjoys clothing, I've come to realize, that getting dressed, is much easier when you know what's in your closet.  I think that too often, people form sentimental attachments with their clothing, and so they hang on to things well past their expiration.

I started doing clothing audits on myself, back when I lived in San Diego.  I worked as a buyer at a designer/vintage resale store, and had to learn quickly, that you just can't keep everything that gets put on your counter, you have to say "no."

I've now done closet audits for three other people, most recently, yesterday, and would like to see this strange obsession of mine, grow into a secondary source of income, or become a tradeable commodity.
