The Outdoor Wishlist!
I'm super excited for summer, and for the camping that happens. That being said, it's time to re-stock on supplies, and hopefully add some new items to my gear collection!

The luggage to lug
It never fails, I'll be SO excited to go away for a weekend or even an overnight, and I'll pick my cutest outfits to take, and in general, be feeling pretty good. I'm a grown woman with somewhere to go, stuff to wear, and then it happens, I pull out my travel bags.
My last luggage set was only slightly higher quality than a plastic shopping bag, and after a few trips, it got all saggy and bent, and then broke. To replace the terrible luggage I was now free of, I've substituted with using reusable shopping bags from Urban outfitters, or Trader Joe's. Needless to say, the "put together woman" that began to pack for her trip, quickly disappears when shoving her treasured clothing items into a grocery bag.
Determined not to repeat this event again, I've begun my search for luggage. As it would turn out, luggage hunting is harder than I expected, and being picky (like me) doesn't help. Pretty much everything I like, I can't afford, so despite finding some quality, American made pieces, my budget can still only afford grocery bags.
In the end, I did find a weekender bag (vintage/used) to start my collection, and hopefully I'll win the lottery before I need a bigger set.
Here are a few pieces that caught my eye while on my hunt, and a couple of websites that might help you find what you're looking for.

Don't neglect places like Ebay and Etsy, both are great resources, and in my case, Etsy.com had the bag I bought!

The Quest for the Chelsea Boot
Searching for the perfect pair of shoes, is an ongoing battle for a lot fashion aware, people. Not only is it great to have that standout "must have" for the season, or for a particular outfit, but it's also important to have that pair of tried and true shoes to go with everything else, and that will carry you from year to year.
Chelsea boots are a classic design that aren't going away anytime soon. That being said, I've been wanting a pair of them ever since I first laid eyes on a pair from Cole Haan, a few years ago. Sadly, Cole Haan no longer offers a classic Chelsea design, and so my search has turned to the Internet for other options.
Here are three pairs that I like the looks of, but have not had the pleasure of actually seeing in person, and have yet to try. I've listed them in order of crush size.
My FIRST Choice, is from TopShop.com, and retails for $130.
My SECOND Choice, is also from TopShop.com, and retails for $75.
My THIRD Choice, is from Land's End, and retails for $118.

Bag it up, in a Baggallini!
Ok, so I'm sitting at the coffee bar here at work, when I happen to spy a super cute bag being carried in through the front door. As it would happen, it was being carried by my favorite New Yorker (turned Kansas City employee), and she too needed some morning coffee.
